What Makes Our Baked Penne Special
Penne holds sauce in a way long noodles cannot. Every tube fills with our meat sauce, so the flavour is even from the first forkful to the last instead of collecting at the bottom of the plate. Baking rather than simply boiling and topping is what gives the dish its texture: a soft centre, chewier edges where the pasta meets the dish, and a lid of melted cheese.
